Hi Dolls, As promised last time, I’m back here with product review of the beauty haul I got from the Irish Beauty Show 2018. Today I’m going to review the skincare range from Nacomi for which I have been excited since days! I was surprised how I didn’t know about such an affordable and natural skincare brand till I tried it for the first time at the Beauty Show.
About Nacomi– Nacomi is a Polish cosmetic and skincare brand that offers natural products with valuable natural oils, butters and extracts. They are free from allergens, SLS/ SLES, parabens, mineral oils, preservatives or dyes. I also appreciate the fact that Nacomi products are individually handmade within one month of going on Sale, are vegan friendly and never tested on animals. They are also known to use vitamin E or a natural preservative approved by Ecocert certification body. Nacomi is for everyone-you can find a separate range of products for men, babies, pregnant women and sensitive skin prone to allergies.
I’m always willing to try and incorporate new skincare products in my routine, especially if they are natural and aromatic. So I tried and purchased Nacomi body mousse and body butter in a fab deal of 2 for €20 in the Beauty Show. My skin type is dry in summers and even drier during the winter months. Let’s see if this cruelty free range managed to nourish my dehydrated skin.
Nacomi Body Mousse Review: Delicious Chocolate Cookies
What it is: It’s a cookie scented mousse hand- made from whipped shea butter and grapeseed oil with a bit of cocoa extract and argan oil. This fluffy and airy body mousse made & preserved with the goodness of vitamin E is also available in different scents (can I say flavours?) like blueberry cheesecake, mango Macaroons, sweet raspberry cupcake and coconut -banana shake. Sounds yummy right? 🙂
What it claims: It’s a light body mousse which spreads easily and absorbs fast leaving the skin deep moisturized and nourished. It claims to have an amazing feel and leave mouthwatering aroma of chocolate chip cookies on the skin. It also makes skin smooth, firm and supple, helping regenerate the skin cells with usage over time.

My experience and review of Nacomi body mousse -delicious chocolate cookies
The look and packaging of the product is wonderfully feminine, creative and pleasing to eyes. When I turned the lid off, the room was immediately full of sweet delicious smelling cookies. I just loved the fragrance which is so happy and pleasant, an immediate mood lifter for sure. It’s unbelievable how a 100% natural product can manage to smell so heavenly and delicious at the same time! The fluffy look of the mousse makes it appear like a ready-to-eat cup of vanilla ice-cream. The texture and consistency of the product is not that soft like that of a mousse which you would expect but rather more like a cold pressed coconut oil (which I like).
Moving to the application aspect, a little bit of the product was sufficient to melt perfectly into the skin like body oil. I never thought that a product so solid in texture would spread and absorb so nicely into the skin. The warmth and the heat of the skin turn it into a fragrant oil making it an exceptionally great moisturizer. I noticed that initially it leaves an oily cast but gets absorbed later in 10 minutes. The wear is truly amazing and my skin feels deeply moisturized each time I apply it. Even after a few hours, the delicious smell remains lingering on the skin. The moisturizing effect lasts through one or two hand washings as well, so I just have to reapply the product once on the hands. Because it has such exceptional nourishing properties, I like to use it just twice a week. The combination usage of the Nacomi mousse and the body butter has truly helped my skin fight dryness and retain elasticity. A little surely goes a long way, which is why this product lasts longer in the jar.
DB Rating: 4.5/ 5
Conclusion: Nacomi body mousse looks like vanilla ice-cream, smells like cookies, applies like oil and dries like body butter. It’s so amazingly rich and natural; heavily moisturizes skin and smells divine! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with dry skin or who wants to pamper their skin in the winters. It moisturizes amazingly and is a superb product for skin that craves nourishment. Make sure to dedicate 10 minute time to let it penetrate properly into your skin before stepping out. If you ask me if I would repurchase the mousse – I’d say a big YES!

It’s also available in different fruity scents like freshly baked papaya pie, sweet honey wafers, strawberry-guava pudding.

My experience and review of Nacomi smooth body butter- warming Moroccan spices
The packaging is colorful, chic and visually appealing. You can’t help but completely adore the fragrance of this body butter which is truly exotic and seductive! I loved the texture and application of the mousse more than the body butter keeping my skin type in mind, but the fragrance of this one was hard to let go. So instead of buying another flavor of body mousse, I decided to give it a go. It actually looks really fluffy and lightweight as mentioned on the packaging. I applied the product to my skin and was surprised to see how fast it got absorbed into my skin. It left a smooth and velvety finish without even a hint of greasiness. I feel this is a better product for everyday use and the kind of product you would love to carry in your handbag. My skin feels really pampered and silky to touch with each application. I love to use it almost every day. The only downside is that the fragrance isn’t long lasting and you need to reapply the product after every hand wash 🙁 , but that doesn’t affect my love for this product. I use a handful of it every day for my body and I feel this box is soon going to be finished.
DB Rating: 4/5
Conclusion: It’s a great lightweight and aromatic body butter which doesn’t leave a heavy or sticky feeling on the skin. I would recommend this product to anyone as a perfect summer and daytime moisturizer that your body’s going to love!
